Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are one of the most popular destinations for top-notch high school prospects. They always seem to put together an impressive recruiting class, which hasn’t changed looking at the 2017 class as it’s shaping up.
One of their main targets is four-star cornerback Ambry Thomas, who is one of the top defensive backs in the class.
Notre Dame is making it obvious that they want to bring him on board. Thomas took to his Twitter account to show off the 129 pieces of mail that he has received from the Irish.

There is no question that the Irish are likely very successful with that type of approach. At the very least they will get a good laugh from the prospect that they are pursuing. Very rarely would someone get annoyed with a team giving them this much attention.
It is always interesting to get a sneak peek at the way college football recruiting works. Teams go all out to land commitments and this type of thing shows why players need to be very careful in their recruiting period. Getting all this attention is a once in a lifetime opportunity, but it is also very easy to pick the wrong school because of the things that they do in order to secure a commitment.
Thomas has a very tough decision ahead of him with a lot of great schools offering him a scholarship, but Notre Dame certainly seems like one of the top teams on his list at this point in time.
