Villanova OL to miss three games to donate bone marrow

Villanova offensive lineman Jake Prus may be playing in the Wildcats’ season opener against Connecticut tomorrow night, but he will miss the next three games after that for a very noble cause.

According to coach Andy Talley, Prus has been selected as a match to make a bone marrow donation next month. Talley is very active in the cause, which has been incredibly helpful for those battling cancer, and Prus becomes the first player to donate since Matt Szczur did in 2010.

His teammates may miss having him on the field for games against Fordham, Delaware and Penn, but what Prus is doing is for a tremendous cause. Campus Sports salutes him for his generosity!
