13 NFL teams show up for Trevone Boykin, TCU opener

The TCU Horned Frogs and Minnesota Golden Gophers are set to open their respective seasons this evening. Trevone Boykin is hoping to solidify his NFL potential this season and there are plenty of teams in attendance that will be watching him this evening.

At this point in time 13 teams are scheduled to be in attendance for the game.

Last season with the Horned Frogs, Boykin ended up throwing for 3,901 yards, 33 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also ran for 707 yards and eight touchdowns on the season.

So far the teams that are in attendance are the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins.

Boykin definitely has legitimate NFL potential and has the talent to become a starter at the next level. It will take a good coaching staff and a lot of hard work, but there is no question that he can become a star in the NFL.

At 6-foot-2 and 2015 pounds, Boykin is a very solid size for an NFL quarterback as well. He will need to bulk up a bit more, but he will be a dual-threat quarterback. Cleveland, Arizona and Washington could all use a quarterback like Boykin, and they are all going to be extremely interested in bringing him on board.

It will be interesting to see what ends up happening this evening with all of the added pressure on Boykin’s shoulders.

No matter what happens, it is great to have college football back and will be a very entertaining and exciting season.
