Late Wednesday night, news surfaced regarding the health of Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones. Jones was rushed to the emergency room because of head pain but few other details were provided.
Now, we know that the issue does not appear to be serious.
According to Jones’ mother, Florence, the signal-caller was taken to the hospital because of a “headache” and he is doing just fine.
Cardale Jones' mother tells me it is "just a headache." Still in ER getting checked out. Should be fine.

It is great to know that Jones is doing well and hopefully he will have no further issues as the season progresses.
Jones and the Buckeyes will kick off their national title defense on Sept. 7 against the Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg. Whether the trip to the hospital will impact Jones’ playing time remains to be seen.
