Snoop Dogg responds to Brady ruling with a blunt

A federal judge overturned New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension today, and rap star Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to offer his own take on it. Of course, he did so while smoking some of the…uh…”magic herb.”

It’s hard to argue with Snoop, because he’s absolutely right. There was no reason why Brady’s suspension should have been the same length as one given out to players who violate the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Moreover, given today’s ruling, in which NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was blasted for being overly arbitrary and having little to no criteria regarding any suspensions, it basically gives grounds to any NFL players currently under suspension to file a lawsuit against the NFL in federal court.

It’s doubtful that such actions will actually happen, but one thing is certain.

Just how the NFL handles player suspensions in the future is a topic that needs to start being discussed now, and it appears that Snoop Dogg has gotten the ball rolling.
