Texas A&M recaps offseason in season 2 of ‘The Pulse’

Immersing its football program in the Southeastern Conference in 2012, while inducting a new on-field boss in Kevin Sumlin that same year, the Aggies of Texas A&M have been relatively quiet in the pre-season heading up to its Saturday night contest with Arizona State.

As a token of appreciation for the fan’s patience since it’s last on-field appearance against West Virginia at the Liberty Bowl in late December, the Aggies published a home video that outlines what the team’s been up to.

As it released its depth chart three days ago, the Aggies offense will entrust itself in the hands of sophomore quarterback Kyle Allen, who competed with new meat in Kyler Murray from Allen High (TX).

Allen will be the recipient of the feed from senior Aggies veteran, center Mike Matthews, who also orchestrates the front line with RT Germain Ifedi and RG Joseph Creek.

With a roster capped off by mostly sophomores, Texas A&M will have its plate full when it matches up against a Sun Devils defense captained by Jordan Simone, who was second on the team in tackles (100) and interceptions (2) last year.
