The Ohio State Buckeyes will open their 2015 campaign on Sept. 7 against the Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg. However, despite the game being just days away, the team has yet to announce a starting quarterback.
J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones have been involved in one of the most intriguing starting QB battles in the nation throughout the offseason, but it appears that head coach Urban Meyer is closing in on a decision.
Meyer will not reveal who his starter is until the team trots out onto the field on Monday night, but he did state he has a “good feeling” about his starting signal-caller.
Urban Meyer says he has a feeling which QB will take the first snap for the Buckeyes. Says both will play, but not sure how much.

"I have a feeling who is going to take the first snap (at QB), but not a favorite. I don’t like that word.” – Urban Meyer

Many analysts believe that Barrett will get the call, but we will have to wait until 8 p.m. on ESPN to see who gets the first snap.
