When the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game takes place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Saturday, there will be nearly half of the NFL teams in attendance to get a good look at the top draft prospects for the Auburn Tigers and Louisville Cardinals.
According to NFL.com, the teams in attendance will be the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants,Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets,Houston Texans, Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams,Buffalo Bills.
The top players that scouts will be watching are defensive end Carl Lawson, wide receiver D’haquille “Duke” Williams, cornerback Jonathan Jones, defensive end Devonte Fields, defensive back Josh Harvey-Clemons and linebacker James Burgess.
It will be interesting to see how the top prospects perform with the bright lights on them, but knowing that 15 teams will be at the Georgia Dome will give some extra motivation for the players to put their best foot forward.
