4-foot-5 varsity RB has some excellent moves

Florida’s American Heritage School is a program known for winning regularly, which isn’t surprising since some players have NFL-caliber size, as offensive lineman Tedarrell Slaton is 6-foot-6 and weighs 336 pounds.

Then, there’s running back Adam Reed, who is 4-foot-5 and weighs 95 pounds.

And Reed just might be one of the better players on the team.

Because of his size, Reed is obviously tough to tackle. Moreover, opposing players probably worry about absolutely launching themselves at him in fear of causing a serious injury. But Reed takes his lumps like a champ and doesn’t let his size hold him back, and he clearly earned his spot on the varsity team after playing JV for the past three years.

He’s not going to play on the collegiate level, but Reed is an inspiration and his example is definitely one to be followed.
