Maryland WR Levern Jacobs catches 23-yard touchdown

Levern Jacobs is trying to break into the 2015 season as one of the top playmaking wide receivers in the Big Ten. He showed why he believes he can be that type of impact player for the Maryland Terrapins this season in their season opener this afternoon against Richmond.

Perry Hills took a snap out of the shotgun and shovel passed the football to Jacobs, who took it 23 yards to the end zone. He showed off his impressive speed on the play and the Richmond defense had no chance to catch him. If Maryland wants to contend against the powerhouse teams in the Big Ten, they are going to need a lot of big plays from Jacobs throughout the season.
