SEMO’s filthy hit on Mizzou QB earns him an ejection

In a non-con game, where Southeast Missouri State’s (SEMO) passing game is being strained to under 100 yards for three-fourths of the game by the Missouri defense, dwindling statistics is now the least of the Redhawks worries.

Acting as if he was tone deaf, Southeast Missouri State’s Kendall Donnerson allowed physics to run its course, going helmet first into the upper chest of Missouri’s Matt Mauk AFTER a whistle was blown, leaving a defenseless Mauk to dry.

After nearly stripping Mauk’s neck from whatever tendons hold it in place, Donnerson was immediately removed from the game. But luckily for the Tigers of the SEC, Mauk returned and as of the third quarter, the quarterback has completed nearly 50 percent of his passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
