Brother of Christian Hackenberg criticizes Penn State offense

The Penn State Nittany Lions suffered a brutal loss in the season opener on Saturday against the Temple Owls. It was the first time since 1941 that Penn State was upended by Temple and the offense took their fair share of the blame.

Quarterback Christian Hackenberg and offensive coordinator John Donovan received most of the criticism following the game, with Hackenberg’s family even getting in on the discussion.

Specifically, Hackenberg’s brother, Brandon, took to Twitter to rip the Nittany Lions offensive strategy.

Let’s hope that the Penn State offense can turn things around next weekend and that the Nittany Lions show some much needed improvement on the field as they turn things around.

If not, Donovan and head coach James Franklin could feel their seats getting even warmer.
