This is definitely a scary injury, and immediately brings back memories of former Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand. Back in 2010, LeGrand was paralyzed after making a tackle, but has since regained feeling in his shoulders and throughout his body. Not much news has been given on Williams’ status as of yet, but here’s hoping that he isn’t paralyzed, even though his football career is likely over.

Campus Sports will update this story as any new information becomes available and sends its best wishes to the Williams family.
