Jordan Spieth had a pretty rough weekend to say the least. On Saturday, he shot a 3-over-par 74 at the Deutsche Bank Championship, which caused him to miss the cut in consecutive match-ups for the first time in his young career.
The golfer had a even worse Saturday night as he had to endure the awful offensive play of his favorite team, the Texas Longhorns. He spoke with Golf.com talking about his bad play at the match.
“I’ve done a lot of things I’ve never done positively this year. This is something I’ve never done that’s negative,” Spieth said after Saturday’s round.
He took to Twitter to talk about the Longhorns’ offense and how bad they played. He said he didn’t know how useful their offense was during their game with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Texas' offense looking about as useful as my last 4 rounds….

Let’s hope both the Longhorns and Spieth can turn things around for the remainder of their respective seasons.
