Suspended OSU WR posts heartfelt message to teammates

Ohio State Buckeyes senior wide receiver Corey Smith may be suspended for tonight’s season opener against Virginia Tech, but that hasn’t stopped him from wishing his teammates the best.

Smith took to Twitter this morning and posted a heartfelt message to the team, and it will make you feel ALL the feels.

I would do anything to be out there with my brothers today, I know yall boys got it, I will be back stronger than ever 🙏🏾

Smith, along with star defensive lineman Joey Bosa and running backs Jalin Marshall and Dontre Wilson, was suspended for the Virginia Tech game back in July for what was simply described as a violation of OSU Athletic Department policy.

Though Smith only had 20 catches for 255 yards last year and the Buckeyes are loaded with talent, his and his teammates’ suspensions are a huge loss for the Buckeyes.

Hopefully, Ohio State only plays harder due to being without some key players and opens its season with a bang, and defeating the one team that beat them in 2014.
