The defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes kickoff their 2015 campaign on Monday night when they travel to Blacksburg to meet the Virginia Tech Hokies.
For those who have followed the story of quarterback Cardale Jones throughout his time in Columbus, there is one moment early in his collegiate career that really sticks out. That was the epic “we didn’t come here to play school” tweet.
Ahead of tonight’s season-opener, Ramzy Nasrallah of Eleven Warriors passed along a hilarious photo of a banner that was hanging in Blacksburg mocking the tweet.

Jones has shown some maturity since his time as a starter, but that early tweet from his college career has still not escaped the mind of opponents.
