College football must really bee in full swing, because Cardale Jones has moved on from chirping at Joakim Noah and professing his school boy crush on Ronda Rousey to keeping his trash talk gridiron-centric.
After routing Virginia Tech 42-24, the Ohio State quarterback made sure that “Defensive Back University” knew that the Buckeyes had defeated them.
(College Spun says that “Zone 6” is supposed to represent the Buckeyes spending “most of their time in the end zone, getting six points.” An appropriate nicname given their offensive prowess on Monday night.)
If this had come from any other starting quarterback, we might have chalked up this trash talk to the just being juiced after a big season-opening win. Which is understandable, given how far OSU pulled ahead of the Hokies in the second half of Monday’s game.
Except this is the type of troll job that Jones has built his prolific Twitter empire on, so we’ll just assume that such smack-spitting will continue throughout the season.
Are you suprised? This is the same guy who jabbed at a kid he beat at video games. Nothing fuels Cardale Jones like a harem of haters.
