Ezekiel Elliott honored ‘crop top’ during TD celebration

During Sunday night’s season opener for the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes, star running back Ezekiel Elliott racked up 122 yards and one touchdown on just 11 carries.

More than half of those yards, 80 to be exact, came on Elliott’s impressive scamper into the endzone.

After Elliott scored his lone rushing touchdown of the day, he celebrated by paying tribute to his iconic “crop top” he is no longer able to wear because of an altered NCAA rule.

As you can see in the GIF below — which was shared by College Spun — you can see Elliott reach for the bottom of his jersey.

What exactly was the Heisman candidate doing? Giving the crop top look to the fans.

Elliott continued that look during the post-game presser.

Elliott would have been forced to sit out a play if he was running around in his crop top during game action, but it appears that he managed to find the loophole in the rules that gives fans what they want.
