The Virginia Tech Hokies played rather well in the first half of their opening game against the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. The defending champions were without star defensive end Joey Bosa due to a one-game suspension and the Hokies knew it.
One defensive lineman decided to troll Bosa by doing his famous shrug when he made a tackle. College Spun shared the video of Hokie lineman Luther Maddy doing the shrug early in the third quarter after making a big play on third down.

While many people might have thought it was disrespectful for Maddy to do that, some Ohio State fans may take it as a complement since imitation is the highest form of flattery. Besides, the Buckeyes went on to roll the Hokies 42-24. I guess they got the last laugh.
