Tyler Sash passed away yesterday in a very sudden and sad fashion. He was a star with the Iowa Hawkeyes during his college career and played in the NFL as well. It was a very shocking piece of news, as Sash was just 27 years old when he passed away.
During his three-year college career with the Hawkeyes, Sash finished with 217 total tackles, 13 interceptions, 27 defensed passes, three forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown.
Sash went on to break into the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the New York Giants. Sash ended up playing just two years in the NFL and was a part of a Super Bowl winning roster.
Losing someone with so much talent at such as a young age is never an easy thing to see happen.
That being said, Iowa released an awesome tribute to Sash on Twitter and it is well worth watching. Check out it!
