The Ohio State fan base reveled in their team’s dominant win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the inaugural College Football Playoff in January earlier this year.
After both Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema and Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen criticized them for having weak schedules, I think it’s safe to say that the Buckeyes would love to have a chance at an SEC team in the CFP again this year.
One former Ohio State Buckeye shares that exact sentiment.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter is one of the many Buckeye fans that hopes to meet back up with the Crimson Tide in January.
@criscarter80 I'm sorry sir! It's the other idiots that I'm talking too! Have a good day too n see you in the Playoffs!

I don’t know if this was more of a “I want to play them so we can crush them” thing or more of a “This would be a great game to watch between two amazing programs” thing. Either way, I’m sure the Buckeyes want to find themselves back in the CFP no matter who they meet up with, but, right now, there’s a good chance an SEC team could be waiting on them.
