Remember former Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware breaking his leg during the NCAA Tournament a few years ago? That was a pretty awful injury, right? Well, last night’s game between Louisiana Tech and Western Kentucky may have provided an even worse injury provided another injury of that nature.
During the game last night, Western Kentucky running back Leon Allen caught hit and his leg folded over. Put it this way, he was moving left and his leg went right. It was pretty awful and you only need to see the photo once.
This is a very graphic photo, so please use caution if you are easily made queasy.

There has been no update on the injury as he Allen was carted off the field and wasn’t able to put any pressure on his left leg. Head coach Jeff Brohm did not sound too confident about the injury postgame.
“It’s unfortunate,” Brohm said. “You can ask anyone, and within our program, he’s our most valuable player.”
During 2014, Allen was the Hilltoppers’ leading rusher, going for over 1,400 yards and thirteen touchdowns. The next rusher behind him is Anthony Wales, who had 514 yards and five touchdowns last year.
Campus Sports would like to wish Allen a full recovery from this awful injury.
