Michigan’s first touchdown under Harbaugh came from No. 4

The Michigan Wolverines got their first win under Jim Harbaugh on Saturday as they dominated Oregon State 35-7. The Wolverines had a big first as the team’s first touchdown at home came in a very fitting way.

According to College Spun, the Wolverines’ first touchdown in the Big House came from junior running back De’Veon Smith. Why was that fitting? Smith wears number 4, the same number Harbaugh wore when he was throwing passes in the Big House.

I’m sure Harbaugh realized the irony of the situation as Smith made his way into the endzone. Good game, Wolverines.
