Ezekiel Elliott is without question a potential Heisman Trophy award candidate and is a big key for the Ohio State Buckeyes’ hopes to repeat as champs this season. He has started off the game today against Hawaii well and has scored both of his teams touchdowns.
The latest touchdown by Elliott was on a three-yard run, which came on a draw out of the shotgun.
Ohio State needs to continue feeding Elliott both now and throughout the rest of the season. They didn’t give him enough work in their Week 1 matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies, but they are giving him more work today. That has to continue, as he is one of the biggest playmakers in the entire nation.
Check out Elliott’s second touchdown of the day to put Ohio State up 14-0 on Hawaii.
