Video: Penn State’s Brandon Polk runs in 22-yard touchdown

Brandon Polk is a freshman wide receiver for the Penn State Nittany Lions and he made a big play out of character for his position to open up the scoring this afternoon against Buffalo.

Penn State got off to a rough start once again, but Polk broke the 0-0 tie with a 22-yard rushing touchdown. He took a nice end-around off the edge and sprinted into the end zone against a Buffalo defense that hasn’t been bad this afternoon. Christian Hackenberg is struggling in a big way once again, which made this touchdown even bigger for the Nittany Lions.

Polk may not be a running back, but you can expect to see him be used in the running game more throughout the season. He has major playmaking potential and his future is incredibly bright.
