The South Florida Bulls came out in impressive fashion against the No. 11 ranked Florida State Seminoles this afternoon. They were able to hold the Seminoles to a 7-7 tie at halftime, but went down 24-7 with a run from Florida State in the second half.
It appeared that South Florida was just about done, but quarterback Quinton Flowers was able to find sophomore running back D’Ernest Johnson for a huge 71-yard touchdown pass.

South Florida isn’t done just yet and the Seminoles are going to have to figure out how to keep up the strong play that they showed early on in the second half to close them out. Whether the Bulls win or lose, this has been a huge game for them and they should be proud of the effort that they have put forth. It has been a very entertaining game and the Bulls have certainly impressed the nation with their strong play on both sides of the football.
