Ole Miss wants fans to wear blue at Alabama to ‘stand out’

The biggest game of the weekend is easily the Alabama Crimson Tide hosting the Ole Miss Rebels. This game has an air of revenge around it after the Rebels handed the Tide its only regular season loss in 2014.

The Tide fans will obviously be coming out in big fashion, but the Rebels fans usually travel pretty well too. The football program knows that as they have asked the fans to wear navy instead of red to the game this week.

If enough fans show up and wear blue at the game on Saturday, it can certainly make an impact among the sea of fans wearing crimson. Bryant Denny Stadium is sure to be rocking this weekend and I can’t imagine the Rebel fans outnumbering the home crowd.

They are sure going to try though. The game begins at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday and can be seen on ESPN.
