The Florida State Seminoles opened this evening’s game against the Boston College Eagles in impressive fashion. After struggling in a big way last week, senior quarterback Everett Golson showed off his arm on the first drive of the game.
Golson ended up completing all five of his passing attempts for 50 yards and then found Travis Rudolph for a nine-yard touchdown pass.
Boston College has to figure out a way to put some pressure on Golson if they want any chance of winning this game. They have a decent offense that could keep up with Florida State, but it isn’t nearly as good as Golson’s offensive unit. It was a very encouraging sign for the Seminoles and their fan base and the game has gotten off to exactly the kind of start that they were hoping for so far.
