The Ole Miss Rebels haven’t won in Tuscaloosa since 1988. They hope to turn around their near 30-year losing streak when they roll in for their game against Alabama tonight. They will be breaking out some classic uniforms for the game and they look pretty cool.
The Rebels will be straying away from their traditional navy blue helmets as they will be storming the field with powder blue helmets. The team will still roll out with their white and red jerseys and silver, red, and navy pants. Check out the uniform combination below.

The team was originally supposed to break out their powder blues against Vanderbilt next week. However, there is a bit of history behind their uniform combination in Tuscaloosa. According to ESPN’s Kyle Campbell, the team was wearing this same uniform when they last won in Tuscaloosa.
Same uniform combo as last Rebel win in Tuscaloosa in 1988. Get ready for 2 straight games of powder blue helmets. https://t.co/2i0qeI8ZrN

I’m pretty sure the Rebels knew exactly what they were doing when they picked out their uniforms today. The game kicks off on ESPN at 9:15.
