Florida Gators star cornerback Vernon Hargreaves will suit up tonight against Kentucky after missing last weekend’s game against East Carolina. ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reported the update on Hargreaves’ status.

This isn’t at all a surprise, since Hargreaves practiced all week, but still significant. The junior is a key member of the team’s defense and has 92 tackles and seven interceptions in his time with Florida entering this game.
Considering how both teams have started 2-o, the game is in Lexington and Florida wants to keep the ball rolling forward in the first year of the Jim McElwain era, having Hargreaves in the secondary should immediately up the Gators’ chances of winning.
Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
