Fans will be in for a treat tonight when tuning into WWE Night of Champions, as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and United States Champion Seth Rollins will defend both titles in back-to-back matches. WWE superstar and Mr. Money in the Bank, Sheamus, made the announcement on the kickoff show earlier this evening. Sheamus also lightly implied that his Money in the Bank cash-in could be happening very soon, thus giving him a shot at the World Heavyweight title.
This means that for anyone betting on the matches tonight, the odds may have just shifted out of Rollins’ favor. Whichever match comes first, be it his U.S. Championship match against John Cena or his World Heavyweight Championship bout with Sting, there’s no way of dancing around it. Rollins is going to get the living hell beat out of him and is going to have a hell of a time defending one belt, let alone both! Plus, the prospect of Sheamus coming out during the latter match and cashing in his contract is there as a possibility.
