Video: Jaguars QB Blake Bortles fires three-yard TD

The Jacksonville Jaguars are without question one of the teams poised to take a big leap forward during the 2015 NFL season. They aren’t going to contend for a playoff spot unless something crazy happens, but they are going to be much better than they have been in years past.

Blake Bortles has developed quite a bit over the past offseason and it didn’t take long for him to show that today.

He was able to fire a three-yard touchdown to wide receiver Allen Robinson on a slant to open the scoring this afternoon against the Miami Dolphins. He put together a very solid all-around drive as well and looked very much in command. If he can continue playing the way he did on the opening drive, the future looks very bright at the quarterback position for the Jaguars.
