Johnny Manziel has a lot of pressure on his shoulders this afternoon as he gets his first start of the season and it didn’t take long for him to make a big play. He found wide receiver Travis Benjamin down the field for a huge 60-yard touchdown to open up the scoring against the Tennessee Titans.
There is no question that Manziel is capable of making the plays necessary to be a starting NFL quarterback.
Simply giving him time and allowing him to develop is what the Browns need to do. They have to allow him to play and gain experience and it is obvious that his arm has already improved in a big way from last year. Cleveland has to see more consistency from him throughout this afternoon’s game, but he got himself off to a huge start with this play.
