A Reddit/Imgur user, Skiff6886, was admired for a re-creation of blending vintage NBA logos with a contemporary twist, which are inspired by players and historic color pallets that speak to the roots and prosperity of an organization.
With an outcry of appreciation from the Reddit community, Skiff6886 took to the drawing board again, this time redesigning jerseys of some of the NBA’s most storied franchises.
Milwaukee Bucks – Ray Allen-inspired touch with current jersey design
Cleveland Cavaliers – Shawn Kemp theme intertwined with modern Cleveland colors
L.A. Clippers – known as “Lob City,” the Clippers jersey mash-up include simple Los Angeles-friendly red and blue
Memphis Grizzlies – named the Vancouver Grizzlies from 1996-2001, this jersey kit features block lettering and a Grizzlies-stamped waistband

Miami Heat – with thin black and white stripes lining the jersey’s perimeter, the Alonzo Mourning-inspired jersey looks no different than today’s
Charlotte Hornets – adorned with a dribbling hornet, whose wing looks like its on steroids, the Larry Johnson era was well-alive for five seasons (1991-96)
Utah Jazz – one of the most dynamic duos on the court, John Stockton and Karl Malone invested most of their careers within the Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains – a keystone of this jersey’s aesthetics
L.A. Lakers – before relocating to Los Angeles in 1960, the Minneapolis Lakers finished their last season in the Twin Cities, 25-50
Brooklyn Nets – the most patriotic of the historic patterns, the once New Jerseys Nets integrate their apparel design with today’s Booklyn Nets
Denver Nuggets – Spending 11 seasons in Denver, SF Alex English appeared in eight NBA All-Star games and ranks 31st in the NBA with 2,821 turnovers
New Orleans Pelicans – the best No. 3 to play in New Orleans before picking up his things for the west coast, Chris Paul is honored with this scheme for his attributes to the organization
Toronto Raptors – suited with velociraptor claws contoured to resemble a basketball, this jersey pays homage to the style that Vince Carter wore during his time in the Ontario province
Houston Rockets – if you’re a fan of symmetry, then this Hakeem Olajuwon era kit is the right look to soothe any OCD tendencies
Minnesota T’Wolves – hate him or love him, Kevin Garnett is the man behind this meshing of Celtics green and royal blue.
