Travis Ford is entering his eighth season as head basketball coach at Oklahoma State. He has had a ton of success with the Cowboys and he hopes to continue their success in the future.
Despite making the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three seasons, the Cowboys haven’t gotten over the first round hump and have lost all three games. Ford hopes that his future seasons with the Cowboys will be different and that could certainly be this year.
However, the Cowboys have just landed a huge piece to their basketball puzzle for the 2016-17 season. According to College Spun, four-star forward Cameron McGriff has just committed to the Cowboys for next season.

McGriff should fit in quite nicely with the play of African forward Igor Ibaka. That could be a power duo in the low post that could terrorize the Big 12.
For now, the Cowboys will have to focus on their upcoming season. They open the season on November 13 against UT-Martin.
