The Texas Christian Horned Frogs’ defense took another hit today, as senior defensive end Mike Tuaua was arrested yesterday afternoon for felony robbery stemming from an incident that occurred Friday night.
Tuaua’s arrest was reported on Twitter by Ryan Osborne of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram.

Allegedly, Tuaua and two friends arrived to a party uninvited and assaulted three male TCU students before leaving with a case of beer. ESPN’s Jake Trotter reported that receiver Andre Petties-Wilson was also arrested, and Trotter also tweeted out Tuaua’s side of the story.

TCU coach Gary Patterson briefly addressed the matter.
“You’ve got to all be in,” he said. “I wish I could be more positive, but I think it’s better to be the way it is. If we’re not acting right on and off the field, then I’ve got a problem. Right now I’m not real happy with the buy-in.”
Tuaua has appeared in one game for TCU this season and has posted three tackles and half a sack. Since arriving on campus in 2013, he has 50 tackles (13.5 for a loss) and 6.5 sacks. With TCU ranking 54th in the nation in total defense, here’s hoping he can get back on the field soon.
This story is still in the early stages, but Campus Sports will update this story as any and all new information becomes available.
