One former member of the Utah Utes football team had some very harsh words for the Oregon Ducks program.
Ex-linebacker Tommy Hackenbruck recently sounded off on the Utes’ Pac-12 rivals ahead of this weekend’s matchup at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. Hackenbruck posted those comments on Instagram.
Specifically, Hackenbruck said that the Ducks are “soft.”
That’s about as personal of a criticism as you can get in any sport.
“Oregon has a great program, but they always have been and always will be soft,” Hackebruck wrote. “I’d love to see the Utes play physical this week and come up with a huge upset on the road.”

Who you got? The last time Utah beat the Ducks was 10/3/2003 and I distinctly remember giving new meaning to the term "wedge buster" with my homie Reza Williams. Oregon has a great program but they always have been and always will be soft. I'd love to see the Utes play physical this week and come up with a huge upset on the road. The Ducks have not responded, but we’re going to guess there response goes something like this: “Thanks for the bulletin board material.”
