Mel Kiper Jr Big Board features new No. 1 player

ESPN NFL draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. has released his updated Big Board for the 2016 NFL Draft.

After three weeks of releasing his rankings of college football’s top prospects, Kiper has unveiled a new No. 1 prospect. That player is none other than Ole Miss Rebels defensive star Robert Nkemdiche.

Kiper wrote, “Now up to 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds, he still moves like a guy carrying about 40-50 pounds less. You saw it against Bama, when he was getting into the backfield constantly.

“Nkemdiche isn’t just quick, though; he also has strength at the point and doesn’t get eaten up by double-teams. If he stays healthy he’ll end up in the top five.”

Following Nkimdeche is Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa.

Nkimdeche has been putting together a remarkable season and has certainly lived up to the hype he had entering college as a five-star recruit. If he can continue to perform like he has early on in the season, Nkimdeche could be in for a big pay day next spring.
