There have been many former NFL players that didn’t work out so well, but have turned their football careers into ones inside the squared circle.
The likes of Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Bill Goldberg are just a few of the bigger names that played in the NFL and then either went back or turned to professional wrestling once their football careers were over.
So what about some of the newest NFL players? What if they don’t work in the NFL like they hope to?
Bleacher Report shared a video where “Even Leavin’ Cheesin'” Steven Nelson interviewed different NFL rookies who gave some pretty awesome promos.
From Jameis Winston portraying “The Jaboo” to Leonard Williams portraying “The Big Cat”, these were some pretty amazing promos. Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett “The Hitman” Hundley had the best name, because it was so close to legendary wrestler Bret “The Hitman” Hart, and the best promo because it was short and strong, like most of Hart’s back in the day.
One another note: How am I just realizing that Bryce Petty AKA Maverick, looks strangely like John Cena?
