Gator suspensions reportedly connected to failed drug tests

It was recently reported that the Florida Gators have suspended  cornerback Jalen Tabor and quarterback Treon Harris for this weekend’s SEC clash with the Tennessee Volunteers.

The suspensions were initially linked to the general violation of “unspecified” rules.

However, it appears that we now know the culprit: drug tests.

While the suspension to Harris is a devastating blow to Florida’s depth under center, the suspension to Tabor is likely to have a larger impact on the field.

Let’s hope this suspension delivered a message to Harris and Tabor that they will learn from.
