Former Florida QB Danny Wuerffel trolls Tennessee

The Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers face off in Gainesville later today, and the longtime SEC rivalry has fans of both teams rabid, with the trash talk flying. Of course, Florida alum and former Gators quarterback Danny Wuerffel did not hesitate to jump in on the fun, taking to Twitter to troll the living hell out of the Vols.

That should get some Tennessee fans’ blood boiling. The Vols haven’t defeated Florida since 2004, and the game that Wuerffel is referencing is just rubbing salt in the wound. Florida won that game 62-37 and Wuerffel set his own personal record for completions in a game.

Needless to say, expect both teams to play with some extra fire today as Tennessee looks to break the losing streak against Florida, who are looking to go 4-0 for the first time since 2012.

Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
