Tommy Armstrong Jr. and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are looking to even their record at 2-2 after a disappointing start to their season. They are facing Southern Mississippi this week and are playing very well so far this afternoon.
Nebraska has to figure out a way to get their offense playing to its full potential consistently and Armstrong knows that he has to take more of a leadership role.
Today’s scoring was opened up with a nice six-yard touchdown pass from Armstrong to receiver Jordan Westerkamp. Nebraska needed to come out strong this afternoon and they have done just that. Southern Miss is in some trouble against a Cornhuskers team that is making it clear that they want to prove themselves.
