Bronco Mendenhall: Michigan best team we have played

The BYU Cougars have certainly had an up-and-down season this year. After starting off the year with two last minute Hail Mary victories, they have dropped their last two games.

On Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines shut out the Cougars, 31-0. According to College Spun, BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall talked about how good the Wolverines looked and even went as far as to say they are the best team they have matched up with.

Considering the Cougars have also played the Boise State Broncos and the top ten UCLA Bruins, that is pretty high praise for the Wolverines, who just cracked the AP polls for the first time this season. I don’t know if I would call the Wolverines better than the Bruins and Broncos, but they have certainly improved tremendously.

There is one thing that I agree with Mendenhall about and that is the Wolverines physically outmatching the Cougars.
