Fred Taylor congratulates son after big game

Many remember Fred Taylor as the former star running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars and in his retirement, he has turned into his son Kelvin’s biggest cheerleader. Kelvin is the star running back for the resurgent Florida Gators and has rushed for 256 yards and five touchdowns this year, and turned in a great game in yesterday’s win against Tennessee, posting 102 yards and two scores.

Of course, the proud papa took to Twitter to congratulate his son in his own special way, right after his son scored for the second time.

Considering how Taylor rushed for 11,695 yards and 66 touchdowns in 13 NFL seasons and was also a star at Florida before being drafted ninth overall in 1998, that’s a pretty high compliment.

Kelvin Taylor and his Gator teammates will next take on the Ole Miss Rebels next weekend in Gainesville in their quest to go 5-0.
