Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch is technically a game-time decision today as he battles a calf issue, but all signs point to him playing today against the Chicago Bears. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported Lynch’s status on Twitter.

Seattle could really use a big game from Lynch today against a weak Bears defense. The defending NFC Champions have stumbled out of the gate to an 0-2 record and need to pick up a win to keep their status as championship contenders, particularly with such little turnover from last year’s team. Lynch has rushed for 133 yards thus far this season and has yet to score, so today’s game is a prime opportunity for him to help Seattle shake the monkey off its back.
