WVU asst. coach trolls Maryland on recruiting ‘movement’

The West Virginia Mountaineers absolutely dominated the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday. It was a pretty pathetic day for the Terrapins as they were only able to post six points on the board while allowing 45.

The Terrapins have been using a certain hashtag to promote their recruiting strategy. The name of the mantra? #TheMovement. This is used to entice local prospects to stay home and play for the Terps rather than leaving and playing elsewhere.

According to College Spun, West Virginia assistant coach JaJuan Seider decided a take a shot at the Terp’s recruiting strategies following their big win. The tweet he sent out was pretty short and sweet.

The Terps and Mountaineers have built somewhat of a rivalry over the last few years, despite being in separate conferences. This is mostly thanks to the two school only being separated by a few hours.

I don’t think this hatred is going anywhere anytime soon.
