Georgia opens as favorite over Alabama

A 72-game streak could be coming to an end for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

On Sunday afternoon, the opening odds for next weekend’s clash between the SEC rival Georgia Bulldogs and Crimson Tide were released and the Bulldogs were listed as a one-point favorite.

The last time Alabama was an underdog was in 2009 against the Florida Gators.

Of course, plenty can change between now and Saturday so we will have to monitor the odds to see whether the streak comes to an end.

Considering how well the Bulldogs have been playing, it would be a surprise to see the line shift in Alabama’s favor.

The Crimson Tide and Georgia are set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
