Ex-LSU Tigers traded NFL jerseys after game Sunday

In professional sports, especially soccer, it is commonplace to see two athletes exchange jerseys after their teams face each other on the field. On Sunday, two NFL players and former college teammates met up on the field and practiced that tradition following the game.

According to College Spun, former LSU defensive backs Tyrann Mathieu, now with the Arizona Cardinals, and Eric Reid, now with the San Francisco 49ers, met up after the game on Sunday. The two former teammates traded jerseys in a pretty awesome moment.

It’s pretty cool that these two former teammates are still well connected with each other, despite playing for teams in the same division. Mathieu’s Cardinals ended up getting the best of Reid’s 49ers, but these two will always be a part of the Tiger family.

I’m sure we could see these two do the same once their teams meet up again later this season in Santa Clara, California.
