For anyone who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s, “Saved by the Bell” was certainly one of your saving graces of the television world. Everyone wanted to be like A.C. Slater. All the guys, and maybe even some of the girls, wanted to make out with Kelly Kapowski.
Houston Texans superstar J.J. Watt is looked up to by many people today as a great role model and he was certainly one of the kids that grew up idolizing Slater and fantasizing about Kapowski. According to Complex, Watt had two cool encounters with one of the biggest pairs of high school preps in television sitcom history on Sunday.
At the Texans’ win over Tampa Bay, Watt got the chance to meet Slater, who was played by Mario Lopez, following the game. In Watt’s tweet, he used #whereiskellykapowski.

Later that day, Watt got his answer. Tiffany Thiessen, the actress that played Kapowski, posted a picture of her holding the Fall issue of “Men’s Health” featuring Watt on the cover and telling him that she was in Los Angeles.
First off, I have to say that I never got the opportunity to watch the popular show, but I did catch the reruns. Thiessen still looks as good as she ever did. Watt was pretty ecstatic about her responding to him.
