Texas restaurant trolls Big 12 refs

While it is the most popular venue, social media isn’t the only way to troll someone.

An Austin, Texas restaurant, no stranger to calling out those it feels deserve it, took to old fashioned sign marketing this past weekend to let Big 12 officials know just how bad they were.

As you can see, someone was not too happy about the Texas Longhorns’ 30-27 defeat to Oklahoma State Saturday. The Cowboys won on a late field goal, and the sign, not so nonchalantly, hints that super rich OSU alum T. Boone Pickens may have had the refs in his back pocket.

SB Nation’s Barking Carnival, which is a pro-Longhorns blog, points out just how bad the folks running the site feel the refs were Saturday. And honestly, there were some questionable calls.

While the sign does get a solid A- for humor, maybe Texas should focus on the kicking game and its defense, ranked 104th in FBS in points per game, before calling out the refs.
